Privacy Policy

Clever Calculators (“we”, “us”) keeps things simple. The calculators run in your browser, you don't need an account to use any tool, and we collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Log data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security and to keep the site running.

Analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand overall traffic and improve the site. Vercel Analytics is cookieless and aggregate. Google Analytics is only loaded if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner (see Cookies below).

Information you give us. Some tools let you email yourself a report. If you enter your email address to receive one, we store that address together with the report details you generated so we can send it to you and, occasionally, share related tips. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us. We don't sell your information.

Calculations themselves are performed in your browser. The values you type into a calculator are not sent to us unless you explicitly submit them — for example, by choosing to email yourself a report.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Vercel Analytics is cookieless. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage, and it only loads if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner — nothing is set beforehand. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Declining analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use any calculator.

Advertising

Clever Calculators does not run third-party advertising and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Links to other sites

Our pages may link to other websites that we don't operate. If you follow a link to a third-party site, we encourage you to review its own privacy policy. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of any third-party site.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date, and take effect once posted. We encourage you to review it periodically.
