Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate a percentage discount?
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage divided by 100 to get the amount off, then subtract it from the price. For example, 25% off £80 is £80 × 0.25 = £20 off, giving £60.
Do stacked discounts add together?
No. A second discount applies to the already-reduced price. 25% off then an extra 10% off is 32.5% off in total, not 35%.
